yes

Lake Hakanoa in Huntly township. Turn left across the rail lines just before you reach the shopping centre part of town. We will be starting very early (well that is the intention anyway!) 6.30 to 7.00 am I expect.

Many may well have finished and gone ( cooked by the sun !) by about 1.00 pm or so, so I would not leave it too late to come down.

Thanks to the guys at the speed runs yesterday at Hakanoa for the offer to go see the boats run and for taking the time to talk to myself and my son, and sharing little tips relating to the boats. Cheers for letting me run my boat and for your positive comments on my first boat build in . . . 20 years and the way it ran yesterday, I should have paid the $5 for a speed run!.
Special thanks to MATTY - (A) for your help over the time it has taken me to build the boat as FE is new to me (B) for going out and rescuing the boat after its flip yesterday HAHA.
A little tidying up and a few minor changes to be done to the boat to have it totally finished . . . then I need to build a slower boat for my son . . then its a bigger, faster one for me . . a GASSER !

Glad to help and see the great end result! Was good to meet you and your Son, Mark. Hope to see more of you guys once the pond at wattle is full. I will keep an eye out for a boat for Nathan. Only thing I can see that needs doing to your boat is shortening those wires and changing the electrical connector for some bullets which you already know about.

Later on in the day the wind dropped enough to get my little hydro out, First pass it was very sketchy with the sponsons in the air for most of the run, on the return pass the wind had picked up again and it blew over. Tried to run my gasser, but my kerbside solder job let go on the ferrule as soon as I got it into the water so that ended that.
